The short version: OnBall is a beta, it is free, it will sometimes be wrong, and you should not put money on it. The rest of this page says the same thing more carefully.
OnBall is invite-only and under active development. Features change, break, and get removed. There is no uptime promise and no support commitment. The service is provided as is and as available, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
OnBall's prose is written by a language model. Its numbers and charts are not: every stat comes from a tool call and every chart is drawn by a deterministic renderer from those results, which is the point of the whole design. But the sentences around those numbers are generated, and generated sentences can be wrong. A misread, a bad comparison, a confident claim about a trade that never happened. Check anything that matters before you act on it.
Nothing OnBall says is betting, investment, medical, or legal advice, and it is not a substitute for a professional in any of those fields.
Basketball statistics come from third-party data providers. OnBall does not own them, does not guarantee they are accurate, current, or complete, and they can be corrected or withdrawn without notice. Team names, logos, and marks belong to their owners. OnBall is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the NBA or any team.

You are responsible for what happens under your account. Beta access is not a purchased right: we can suspend or close an account, with or without notice, where it is being used in a way that breaks these terms or threatens the service, and we can end the beta itself at any time.
Closing your account is by request. Write to TODO contact address, it will be deleted, and you will get confirmation when it is done. There is no self-serve delete button, on purpose. Nothing yet tells OnBall's own database that a sign-in identity has been removed, so deleting yourself would leave a stranded record still holding your email address, and that address could then never sign up again. Handling it by request is what prevents that. Self-serve closure is planned once the missing piece is built, and until then this is the only route. If you find a delete control on an account page hosted by our identity provider, do not use it: it is the same trap. Your questions remain yours. OnBall stores and processes them only in order to run the service, and claims no ownership of what you type.
To the fullest extent the law allows, OnBall and its operator are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the service, including decisions you take on the strength of something OnBall told you. Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, it is limited to the amount you have paid to use OnBall, which is nothing.

If these terms change in a way that matters, we will say so on this page and, where it warrants it, by email. Continuing to use OnBall after a change means you accept it.
